Relax & Remedy is run by me, Jemma Sandell an Advanced Massage & Skin Therapist.
I’ve been qualified in the Massage & Beauty industry since 2010 starting out as a Nail Technician and Massage Therapist but Massage & Skin is my passion.
Since I started out in the industry I’ve invested a lot into my training and professional development. Working in an ever changing industry keeping up to date with standards, treatment and product developments is a must.

How it all started
My passion with skincare dates back to 2011 when I began my career with a high-end cosmetic brand. Over time, I reached a point where I knew I could provide more comprehensive solutions to my clients, leading to better outcomes. Having personally experienced the challenges of acne rosacea throughout my adult life, I empathise with those facing skin issues.
After a brief break from working with skincare, I dedicated time to research, learn, and explore various skincare brands and treatments. I aimed to identify the areas I was most passionate about and wanted to offer my clients.
Back in 2020, I embarked on a journey to enhance my skills and broaden my offerings as a Massage Therapist by enrolling in training at the leading Jing Massage school.
Today, I specialise in two of my greatest passions: Massage and Skincare.
Both aspects significantly impact people’s daily lives and by carefully assessing individual needs and working collaboratively, remarkable transformations can be achieved.
In 2021, I rebranded my business as “Relax & Remedy” to better reflect its purpose and what it symbolises: the opportunity to Relax and/or find a Remedy for various concerns.
Witnessing the transformation and positive impact of treatments on my clients brings me pure joy. Happy clients make me happy.
Just do you, it’s as simple as that. It doesn’t phase me, every body is welcome in my treatment room.
Relax & Remedy continues to evolve and grow but will always be a name you can trust. My goal is to offer first class treatments and products while delivering a consistently high level of service. I am dedicated to ensuring that every visit is comfortable and worth returning for.

I’ve dedicated over 13 years to the Massage & Beauty industry, spent 8 of those years as a salon owner and 4 as a solo therapist. During my time as a salon owner I managed a diverse team comprising apprentices, receptionists, therapists and room renters. I want to share my expertise and know-how when it comes to setting up and growing a wellness business.
In my role as a coach and mentor, I aspire to guide you in steering clear of the pitfalls I encountered. I’m here to provide support as you embark on your journey as an independent therapist, helping you gain a firm grasp of the business aspects, define your objectives, and cultivate your desired growth.
My mission is to assist health, wellness and beauty entrepreneurs in navigating the industry, eliminating the need for trial and error in achieving a successful business.
